file attributes clue?

    I am investigating whether or not an executable program on a computer has been 'tampered' with or hijacked in some way. Heres one simple question:
    Under normal circumstances, (ie, no foul play) could a file's creation date be AFTER it's MODIFIED date (in windows os)? Seems impossible to me.

    anyone? o_O

    NEVERMIND. :oops:

    I'm a tool. Of course it can. I'm paranoid about a current problem I'm investigating and obviously I'm thinking to far outside the box and forgetting some fundamental computer concepts! :D
