    Nice to see you posting.
Good to hear you are so far down the track with next release.

Did any of the "Wish List" suggestions make it into the beta?

I had always thought that a lot of insight was displayed there.
One more suggestion if I may: why not apply your experience to include a whole disc imager in the FDISR set-up?. Might blend well. Particularly for 'partitioners'.

    This sounds good/useful.
Be careful of over complicating it ... please.

A very good lean streamlined effective innovative functional software so far.
    Beware the bloat :)

    Why not consider it simplifying?

"Windows Boot Record Support! We have also migrated the pre-boot code from the Master Boot Record to the Partition Boot Record. This allows applications, such as Boot managers, Roll-backs, and other MBR modifying applications to co-exist with FirstDefense-ISR."

Does that mean I will be able to use Rollback Rx and First Defense on my system and benefit from the best of both technologieso_O If this is the case, it is certainly a very, very good news :)

    Best regards,

    Greetings,

I have the "Wish List" on my mind, but wanted to get this build out ASAP. With Microsoft Vista just around the corner, we wanted to have this capability integrated in.

I see the comment "beware the bloat". This is very good advice. We live by that one ;)

As far as Rollback RX and other roll-back technologies, if they require MBR access, they will have it.

Can you explain why they don't get to exist along side FDISR inside the MBR in the current version that is not beta? Can you test to see if when you uninstall this program what happens to the MBR that is left over and see if you have similar problems with fixmbr, fixboot, mbrwork, and mbr.exe not being able to rewrite the mbr after program uninstall? It would put my mind at more ease with this whole MBR issue.

I realise this - but could you enable more than one frozen snapshot if it is easy to do?
