    1.4 Newly-added Features and Enhancements

    New Features:

    UEFI-based system support: Support UEFI-based backup and restore. Restore
    BIOS-based systems to UEFI-based systems.

    Support Hardlink : Support Microsoft Hardlink and all kinds of file attributes'
    backup.

    VHD format support : Not only support convert backup image to VMware format
    but also support convert to Microsoft VHD format now.

    GPT disk support : Support GPT disk format, break the limitation of 2TB for a single
    volume.

    Dynamic disk support: Support dynamic disk/Volume.

    Support AF: Advanced Format hard drive supported.

    Simplify Process: Mount CBP image, change to open it by double clicking it in
    restore interface.

    Add features in Recovery Manager: Add Password Reset, 64bit iSCSI initiator
    and Set Bootable Hard Disk for UEFI Motherboard features in Recovery Manager.

    Update Automatically: Add auto update feature. Small version provides download
    link and large version provides promotion link.

    Enhancements:

    No-rebooting installation: Complete install process without rebooting.

    Backup with no limitation: No limitation for the capacity of disk/volume/files to
    be backup. For example, support the newest 3TB hard drive.

    Intuitional UI enhancement: Completely new process wizard for backup and
    recovery.

    Improving hard disk resizing: Resize Disk, support from larger capacity to
    smaller capacity.

    Optimize the program : Fixed BSOD and optimize program's performance.

    Updating to WinPE 3.1 64bit: Adopt 64 bit WinPE, support restore larger sized
    hard drive.

    Cancel task in backstage: Task running in backstage can be cancelled when doing
    backup.

    has the gui changed? last time i tested this it didnt work out to well and was pretty bloated..

    Andy, Do you know if this application utilizes Windows Shadow Copy?

    Cool, thanks. I have a soft spot for this tool from when I tested in when it was DriveClone Pro...always worked for me and found their VM conversion tool the best around. I didn't "trust" it enough to be my main imaging tool but still use v7 from time to time for a secondary backup. I'll check this out!

    Sorry, I am not sure

    but on bootcd(WinPE), it need not to use Windows Shadow Copy

    I just take a look for its bootcd, it's quite simple to use
    also, speed is not slow
