    @Returnil, does that apply to the free version as well, and then I DO NOT mean the AM functionality, but protecting the MBR. After all, without proactive detection, how will an AM ever be able to protect the MBR anyway? :D

    Yes this is included in the free version.

    It is a an automatic feature of the virtualization. IOW, when you activate System Safe, the MBR is protected by default in all versions of RVS v2x and above (including the Labs version).

    Wouldn't running with limited rights mitigate such problems?
