   So I just installed ESET Smart Security 4.2.40.0 and whenever I try to run a scan I get an error that says "Failed to run a scan."
   
   I googled this error and apparently I have malware.
   
   So I've had MalwareBytes installed for a long time and I've run several full scans but no malware was found.
   
   Could anyone help me?
