is there an option to hide your friends list from everyone, even from your friends, the people in your friends list? i don't want it to be seen either on my wall or in my profile, or to other friends. i mean making it completely invisible to anyone but me.
also, is there a reliable source/ website on face book privacy settings, hosting a guide about how to edit facebook privacy settings and make sure it's got maximum privacy & security?
    thanks in adv. & regards

No. You can only hide your friends list from non-friends.

No question about it. That's the best - and most comprehensive - article on how to deal with Facebook personalization for as much privacy as possible.

Thank you, this is the best information available at this time, users of Facebook are recommended to watch their privacy and settings lately since there have been so many changes of late.

Beware of Facebook based games, invitations from people you do not know, protect your Friends List(s) as best possible from view from others you would not want knowing you have befriended at Facebook.
