    I got for my birthday > F secure V 5.41.

I installed it (i first unistalled AVG Free and Avast)

I saw it has no "real" main program ? Is this correct ? It only has 3 different modules sitting in the taskbar.

It seems to me it uses 3 different engine's ?

    F-prot
    AVP
    Orion

Does it always uses them simultain ? Or do i have to launch them independently ?

Are these engine's any good ? do i have to update each engine seperatly ?

Does this program offers strong procetion ? is it as good as AVG or avast ?

It seems it can't be configured a lot ? is this meant to be so ?

Do i really need "backweb" or is it some nasty spy ?

Sorry for these many questions, but i found it such a "strange AV"....

Imho you can be really happy with your birthday present... :)

Yes, F-Secure is a bit 'unusual', but it is surely one of the best AVs you can get. :)
It indeed uses its three engines simultaniously, and you don't have to update them seperately.

You don't need Backweb, but without it you have to start the update process manually (not a big disadvantage imho.) Backweb surely is no spyware.

I suggest, you read a bit in this or other boards around, and you will surely see, that you now are the owner of an extraordinary AV. :)
