    Hi,

I have Kav6 and outpost at the moment.I am very happy with he combo but I thought of trialing F-secure Is.I'm not sure I want to ditch OP tho so was wondering if I should uninstall both Kav and OP and instal the full f-secure suite
or just uninstall kaspersky and install just the f-secure antivirus ?

    TIA

IMHO, you would gain very little (in detection) by switching from KAV to F-secure. F-secure also uses quite a bit of system resources.

if u rele want to try it tho, id go for the antivirus only and keep outpost pro.

    WSFuser,

thanks for your input. Yes I just want to try it for a little while and see how it goes.Thing is I am using Kav 6.0.1.392 beta and its a bit heavy. It takes for ever (3mins) for the kav icon to show up in the tray icon after bootup.I could do without it.

Other than that kav is very good.

I think I am going to try f-secure and then go back to kav+op:D

    Hi Banshee,

You may try KAV 6.0.1.401 pre-technical release. Build 392 is quite old. ;)

    Chubb,

Thanks will do.After trying to make it work for 8 hrs today I got rid of F-secure.It slowed down my pc to a crawl. Could not connect to kaspersky ftp so I installed Nod32 again. Will try to get kav *.401 later on:p
