F secure 2012 Final

This is exactly what i was suspecting. My shutdown time was significantly increased . I wanted to post this but since I have never heard some AV effecting shutdown speed also ( significantly )

 

i too have slow shutdown, this version maybe high rated against malware but is sure not computer friendly, also have higher memory usage than 2011,

 

this proves again why only having great detection scores is not enough. You have to built a user friendly and performance Oriented security product. Now, I might not again try this product for years.

I think they got the solution for this Problem.
Someone of F-Secure send me an "beta" file to test it and with this new FirewallDeamon the shutdown is as fast as normal.

 

Im using this AV now in one of my machines, no slowdowns
btw any promotion on? I dont see myselft buying this after only 30 days, I would like to test for at lest 2 or 3 months....

I experience the same problem with F-Secure 2012. Shutdown 50 seconds instead of 8. But I am confident. Their after-sales service seems effective.

Of the good side, I note that the resident protection affects in no way the speed of the machine (sharply less than Avira for example).

 

thanx, do you know where i can download f-secure internet security for netbook plz ?

 

they dont have a specific version for netbooks so go here for IS trial
