F-Prot has the reputation of running well and being user friendly. I have only used it on a trial several years ago.

The problem is that it was not competetive in detection. With so many good choices around I am a little surprised it is still around. I also hope they do well, but the detection will have to greatly improve for me to be interested.

    Regards,
    Jerry

Thanks for the test results. Any chance you could test Hitman Pro and/or Prevx or Comodo?

BTW- in Avast Pro how many of the files were executed/analyzed in the Avast sandbox? Were any found to be malware with generic signatures?

To be very honest i have only executed 4-5 malware in Avast sandbox and none of the malware were detected On-execution..and three of them are able to infect the system.

Great ...Yes you can give him a try. BTW its seems that F-Prot have a very good detection rate as compared to Immunet.

Hi Avi, I just noticed that you used Immunet pro. With Bitdefender engine as tetra it should not have such bad detection. I have found that it has problems with quarantining threats during an on demand scan. So in any of my tests I use to unzip malwares in real time. Immunet has no problem in quarantining then. Will you please recheck in that way?

according to their forum it will keep getting small due to better heuristics and generic signitures.

I have faced some problems with Panda Cloud..and have informed Jorge & Pedro about the same. They took some samples from my system through remote session. Probably, they'll get back to me very soon regarding the problem...BTW guys we are getting off-topic...If anybody have particular request, then shoot me PM..:)
