Pete: I actually have to use my brain when I read some translated text, so it's a welcome change for me. ;)

ErikAlbert: No problems running F-Prot with DefenceWall? Both would be fairly light programs. Should be a good combination.

Aw, c'mon Pete. It's harmless in small doses. Actually, I am sometimes tempted to post in my own native language (Klingon).

P.S.- I am still waiting for my $1 discount of FP.

    I totally agree with Peter.

Anyways, it's about time F-Prot is compatible with Windows Vista. They have been really slow, which I think is quite bad by the company. But now it's here. Congratulations.

This is a problem in direct translation (word by word) from Chinese to English by using some online dictionary, for example. He is referring to false positive (false alarm) instead of manslaughter;)

Actually, he's referring to a process where hackers intentionally modify a virus to generate a new variant targeted at bypassing specific AVs. Since AVs rely on code signatures derived from the virus, the hacker simply modifies those parts of the code to evade the AV (somewhat of an oversimplification, but that's the general idea). It's actually much easier than most people think, and can be done in a matter of minutes.
