I have been getting screens to save copies of my Cypherix LE worksheet apart from the "Save and Exit" screen I used to get. Then to assure confidentiality I must remove these "extra" copies manually. They save to the Cypherix generated F: drive, but are not encrypted ! What has changed? The way things are now I can not exit via "Save and Exit" without okaying the extra saves.
More detail: It suspect my problems are permission problems. When I exit my Cypherix encrypted Excel, via the upper left Excel icon and 'exit excel' option, in lieu of a message box asking if I wish to 'continue', I get a msg bx : >Computer>Financial Accts(F asking if I want to save the file: "Copy of -----------.xls (my file name) If yes, I get a msg bx: saying "You do not have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission. Whereupon I get another msg bx: >Bob>Documents file name: Copy of ------------.xls (again my file name) A 'yes' copies the file unencrypted and clears the screen. If I select the Cryptainer desktop icon, The 'shutdown and exit' msg bx appears but no 'Shutdown and Exit' action has taken place or will take place .... that is no save or shutdown/exit occurred and the unencrypted copies are not updated.
