    Hi there,

Our server freezes from time to time most probably due to VSS being enabled (there are other threads about this), so this is why i'm looking for a way to run tasks manually but whithout having to log on on each server. I found TrurImageTerminal.exe in the manual. It's also written that you can run scripts generated from TI, but there's nowhere to find something like a *.tis file on that server or a method of exporting tasks.

So is the statement in the manual wrong?

    Thanks

Sorry, should have said that it's Acronis TI Server 9.1 Build 3854.

    Hello Adramalech,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Server Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please note that Acronis True Image stores scheduled tasks in the form of XML scripts (default Microsoft schedule script format; essentially a text file). The scripts are stored at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageServer\Scripts path.
You can also create the scripts manually using syntax described in chapter 14.2.2 of Acronis True Image 9.1 Server for Windows User's Guide, and saving files with .tis extension.

Please also take a look at this thread describing how you can shut down VSS service after backups automatically if you don’t need it for other purposes.

    Thank you.
