Aww NP :) These customers have nothing to worry about. Their social security numbers as recorded by Experian are likely not theirs :)

Last year I tried to get a credit report online from Experian. They refused, even though they took my money. They claimed they could not verify my identity.

A subsequent investigation showed that the reason they could not validate my request was that on my credit report they had another person's social security number listed as mine and the contents of my report included many errors because of that.

How does cr$p like that happen? They make so many errors, beyond security incompetence, that cost so many peeps so much time, trouble, money, and aggravation they should be shut down IMHO. Studies have shown that between 25% and 30% of persons have at least one critical error on their credit reports of the three major credit reporting agencies.
