Exclude a dir when creating image

    Is it posable to exclude a dir or two when creating a image in TrueImage 8 CW or CS?

    No you can't because you can only image a whole partition not part of one.

    If you have two hard drives or other means of backup and they are not system directories you perhaps could copy to your backup disk and delete the original directories before imaging ?

    Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

    Please note that Acronis True Image is not file-based that makes it usually more flexible when working in non-standard conditions (such as corrupted files system or bad quality of hard disk). However this is the reason why Acronis True Image cannot image selected files or directories, only partitions or disks. The workaround prposed by como seems to be the best way to perform the necessary operations.
