Excel Splash screen

    hi all

    does any one know of an alternitive method of disabling the splash screen in microsoft excel that comes as a part of microsoft office 2000 or a way to force excel to display a blank note book when using the /e switch to disable the splash screen ?

    I've never heard of being able to disable any kind of splash screen for any version of Office, unfortunately...

    @bethrezen - the /e switch for excel is what stops it from starting with a blank workbook. and afaik, there is no alternative to disable the splash screen.
