Are these two programs compatable. If one has Prevx, is Ewido needed?

    Thanks

yes, they don't have any overlap afaik.

I don't have it now but I had it on my system and worked ok, the last time I tried prevx I had to uninstall it but had nothing to do with Ewido :D

Hey there Tgell, welcome to Wilders.

They work well together hand in hand, each with its own function.

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers :D

I have been using the two products together (Ewido licensed and Prevx Home) on my SP2 machine for a few weeks now. There have been no problems.

I have Ewido (licensed) ProcessGuard (Free but will be upgrading) and PrevX Home edition on my W2000 set up. They all work hassle free and don't sem to get in each other's way at all. I suppose whether Ewido is needed is down to how well you interpret PrevX popups. If you are very tech savvy I suppose you wouldn't really need a dedicated AT. Personally I prefer to have a realtime AT as my first line of defence and PrevX monitoring applications and the registry.
