    Spysweeper?

Will ewido detect everything that spysweeper will?

Just hate to renew Spysweeper if ewido has everything covered.

    Thanks.

    Thanks helpfromfrance.

Your last link helped me resolve the Shield Icon in the system tray problem.

If you go to google and type in "ewido vs spysweeper" you will find several opinions.

I have used Ewido for a long time, and have the paid version. I have never tried spysweeper, so can't comment on that one.

    Hope this helps.

Hi! Ewido is good but I don,t think at the moment it is better than spysweeper. In future.... we will see!
    It,s just my opinion.

I was disappointed when Grisoft bought ewido, of course it was a business decision and could not be changed now. I would be much happier if Webroot and ewido networks would merge and produce a single product that can combine the strength of handling trojan by ewido, and the strength of handling spyware and adware by SpySweeper.

I've both running realtime, as well as KAV 6, but I didn't experience any problems. Both complement each other very well. :thumb:

Have you tried uninstalling Spy Sweeper, rebooting, cleaning your registry, rebooting again and reinstalliing Spy Sweeper?

Had some problems in the past with it, but not anymore.
    Works really well here. :)

A number of OT posts removed.

    To all:

Just as a small reminder....this is the ewido support and the thread concerns ewido Anti Spyware and whether or not certain programs are now needed. This is not and will not become a thread comparing other programs. Let's leave that discussion for more appropriate forums.

    Thanks,
    Bubba
