i am having a problem with TrojanHunter's realtime scanning since the release of the new TH 4.5..

TH's realtime scanning, THGuard, will not function when i also have ewido's "guard" running.. it does seem to work when ewido's guard is not running..

i don't think that this was a problem, before, with TH 4.2. (as it says at the ewido site, ewido does not conflict with trojanhunter)..

when i test TH with the "trojansimulator", THGuard will not flag it when ewido's guard is running.. if i "uninstall" ewido's "guard", then THGuard will flag the simulator..

maybe ewido would like to look into it, to test for themselves to verify that the new TrojanHunter 4.5 is not compatible with ewido..

is anyone else who uses TrojanHunter along with ewido experiencing this problem?

Hi Redwolfe:) I do use both together - so far no problems.

there is no reason to run both of these together.
you might hinder the efficiency of ewido.

While I certainly have found that running more then one virus checker at the same time can cause a problem, as can running more then one firewall, up to now re malware/trojan detectors/ I have not experienced any problems, or compatability issues although others may do....

    I have BOC/Trojan Hunter/ SpywareDoctor/Ewido/WindowsDefender(beta)2/

I will test Trojan Hunter with the simulator soon.

    Redwolfe_98,

Here's the sequence I see with Ewido Guard and THGuard active. On Windows XP-SP2 and TrojanSimulator out on a floppy.
