ESS v4 and Spy Sweeper v6.1

    Comptability issues with ESS 4.0.314 and Spy Sweeper 6.1.107.

    Install SS, reboot and SS errors graying out the Sweep and Shields tabs after it requests to reboot and trys to load. Uninstall SS, use MSCONFIG and uncheck egui (ESS), reboot, reinstall SS, reboot as needed, start ESS and all is fine. Reboot and the error is produced again.

    I have another system with ESS 3.0.684 and SS 6.1.107 and they work perfectly together.


    Is there an exclusion or inclusion somewhere in either of the apps that can be added to avoid this issue? ie - ESS not to check/scan SS?

    Hello,

    If you disable Self-Defense in ESET Smart Security v4.0 and then reboot, does the problem still occur?
