ESS don't support diffrent compression compression methods

Hi there,

ESS don't support diffrent compression compression methods

i compressed a file with a program called winzip and it's have it's own methods for compressing files

i use the method : in the pic bellow

for an exe file and i get the messege

C:\Documents and Settings\***User\Desktop\hideippla_2.zip » ZIP » hideippla_2.exe - error - unknown compression method

Is there a solution for this ?

Hello,

No AV scans all compression methods.

As soon as that archive is opened or performs any kind of other action it is scanned then.

Try it with an Eicar test file.
