Disappointed that within 2 hours of upgrading from NOD32 v3 to ESS I've had to dump ESS.

Reason? Repeated freezes and in one case a BSOD. :(

Is this a common problem? If so does anyone know if this is being addressed?

    Cheers

PS: running WinXP SP2, no other AV or firewalls installed

if you search the forum there are other bsod issues,
send your memory dump to eset to help them fix it

I just got a Sony VGN-TZ195 and did a clean install of Vista Business on it...

I had a BSOD crash on every resume from Standby or Hibernate. I started by testing system memory and it was fine, I then uninstalled ESS and crashes went away. I installed NOD 3.0 and it works fine, no BSODs. I did a kernel dump if that is useful for anyone...

The notebook is a ULV Core Duo 1.2GHz with 2MB RAM. Let me know what else is needed to diagnose the problem. I bought a 2-year license and would like to use it...
