ESS - "Broken" network connection despite restarts/uninstalls, etc.

    I am referring to my own thread posted on 8/1. Was using ESS b1b at the time.

    Curious as to whether anything has been fixed that would explain the problem I had, or whether anyone else has had an unfortunate instance of similar problems.

    Would like to get back into the testing and give the RC a run, but I simply have not the time or motivation to fix a problem that previously took me several hours of troubleshooting and was never nailed down to a definitive cause.

    many bugs reported with the firewall in Beta1 and beta2..

    yet eset decide to completely ignore them and produce a "release candidate"

    so to answer your question, no... id await for next rc2 if you want to try and see if the network problems are fixed

    no kidding... earlier today is the first time I couldn't get the update... Grrr...
