Hi!
I seem to have the same problem. I have run Ad-aware and it didn't solve it, I still have the "Detected SPYware! System error #384" homepage.

Before you start, please unzip or move HijackThis to a separate folder of its own. The program will make backups to the folder it's in. These easily get lost in a temporary folder or a folder with other programs.

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

Reboot and then post a fresh HijackThis log.

Hi Kent,
Thanks for the info, but are you sure about deleting updmgr.exe? I'm not sure, but I think it's part either of the mcafee anti-virus, or part of a software we have in our pcs that enables the automatic install of some programs the company distributes to everyone... I could be wrong though, but I wouldn't like to delete it without being sure.
