Funny I was having the same problem with the initial release except it was only when I opened internet explorer.

Otherwise I didnt have any problems.

    but 563 solved that issue.

and it was only on the AV not ESS.

Version 3.0.566 is out. The changelog is not updated on the website. Any one knows what have they fixed and if there are no more BSOD's?

Dammit... I guess I'll skip this version then. I'll skip them all if they don't fix this soon...

I'm running Vista Ultimate 64 and with ESS i got many BSOD related to tdx.sys but only when i was running utorrent. I uninstall ESS and got no BSOD with utorrent.

My system specs are: Intel Pentium D 3.4 Ghz, 1 gb ram, Asus P5RD2-VM, ATI X1300, Vista Ultimate 64

I hope they fix the problem fast.

I just created a memory dump but I don't have space to host it. It weights 356Mb in z ZIP file, 1GB uncompressed.

I'm currently uploading my memory dump after getting BSOD but before i have been able to figure out which part of ESS is causing it. First i did disable all antivirus part and still got BSOD. Not i only have firewall disable and did not got BSOD back. So firewall component of ESS is causing the BSOD.

Either way, I would like to share my dump with ESET also, 2 reasons:

    1) I'm only having this BSOD with ESS and not any other software. Other than ESS, I never get a BSOD.

    2) My BSOD reason might be different from yours...

i confirm. i use ESS v3.0.566 on Vista 64 with all installed updates. The combination works fine till I try to use utorrent. in this case i see BSOD regularly. i have 0x7e error in tdx.sys. this error may occur in 10 minutes or 2 hours of work. and when i uninstall ESS and install NOD antivirus (without changing any other applications or settings) BSOD doesn't show up.

Those that are regularly seeing BSODs are you also using an X-Fi

I have noticed that without the X-Fi driver loaded the BSODs disappear (there is documented issues between Vista and X-Fi) so is it possible that the ESS interaction is aggravating this issue, causing the BSODs? Eset?

    Just my 10 bits
