Eset smart security 4 problem

    I have installed ESET Smart Security 4.2.40.0 on my windows 7 pc.Now i hawe problem becos ess is blocking ie 8 and mozila so i cant conect to internet.Please someone to help me and to tell me how to solve this problem.

    thanks for replay but on my ess 4 is not the same as on this picture.

    Does disabling the firewall make a difference?

    Yes.If i disable firewall then im able to conect

    See the instructions for troubleshooting issues concerning blocked connections mentioned here (If a specific communication is blocked...).

    Ok thanks for help.I will delate eset smart security and istal Kaspersky Internet Security.

    I don't understand as the ESS firewall is doing its job. If it blocks a communication it does that for a reason. We don't know if you configured the Trusted zone properly, created a blocking rule for the communication, or there was an attack detected and subsequent communication was blocked.
    Hence I asked you to refer to the guide, enable logging of blocked communications and post here the relevant entries from the firewall log which will reveal the reason for blocking the communication.
