Eset shutting down

I have eset smart security 5 running on my laptop. I've had it for almost a year and just recently noticed that when I start my computer eset starts up and then for some reason shuts down leaving my computer unprotected. I try to restart it and it doesn't start. I restart my computer and it starts, then shutsdown again. I get no errors or anything when it does it. I don't even know it shuts down unless I check and make sure it is going. I'm running windows 7 and it has been running fine until recently. I don't use my laptop much but the rest of my family does, so who knows what happened. Anybody have any ideas why eset is shutting down and wont restart?? Thanks

 

Did you try reinstalling Eset? If it is still not working it could be malware blocking it. In which case see
