    Hello,



    ESET Server Security v3.0.21 for Linux, BSD and Solaris has been released. ESET Server Security consists of three licensable applications:
    ESET File Security – protects file servers from malware
    ESET Gateway Security – checks http and ftp streams for malware
    ESET Mail Security – protects mail servers from malware


    One binary file will perform any combination of these features when used with the appropriate licensing. All programs have a web interface for management and can also be managed using ESET Remote Administrator.

    This is the last release for which ESET will officially provide support for FreeBSD V5.x, as it has already been deprecated by The FreeBSD Foundation and is no longer supported by them.

    The changelog for this release is as follows:

    • New Feature: Expired licenses can be removed by esets_lic using the “–remove-expired” option
    • Revised documentation for ESET File Security, ESET Gateway Security and ESET Mail Security
    • Fixed “Cannot scan: Invalid request” error message on files with and without extensions
    • Fixed problem with returning a 404 error when entering a URL with a two slashes after the domain
    ESET FILE SECURITY
    • none
    ESET GATEWAY SECURITY
    • Added "ident_scanning_service" option to sets_icap.r
    • Added support for ftp server authorization from a http client
    ESET MAIL SECURITY
    • Updated antispam engine for all packages except FreeBSD v5.x and Sun Solaris
    • Added timeouts for client connections with esets_imap, esets_pop3 and esets_smtp
    • Fixed problem with esets_setup not finding exim‘s configuration file on SUN Solaris
    • Fixed problem with esets_setup not finding zmailer.conf
    • Fixed problem with esets_setup not working postfix on SUN Solaris
    • Fixed problem with esets_setup not working exim
    • Fixed problem with esets_setup not being able to find qmail
    • Fixed problem with esets_daemon not starting automatically on SUN Solaris
    • Fixed problem with esets_daemon remaining after uninstallation on SUN Solaris
    • Fixed problem with esets_daemon not recognizing the quarantine_dir variable and quitting
