    Hello everybody,

I'm having a BIG problem with ESET Security v. 4.0.437, because I've configured my network as untrusted, but anothers computers on the same lan can ping my machine.

In old versions this wasn't possible using "Strict Protection", but now i don't know what is happening...

    Any idea?

    Thanks...

I for one cannot ping my machine from outside the trusted zone with the latest version of ESS.

    Hi Marcos,

This is very strange, because in the Trusted network is possible to PING and the Untrusted not. These are the default configurations.

The fact, I stopped the windows firewall, and now I'm only using the ESET. And my Windows is Vista 64 bits.

For me, the untrusted model should be more secure than trusted.. but in your case, i don't understand this.
