To answer my own question, it appears to accept real licenses and work with the existing client.

I can't seem to be able to install this beta with an MSSQL db...

    The type stays on:
    "Destination database type: MS Access"

Is it possible to test this public beta with an mssql db?

Any idea when this will be out of beta so those of us who manage more than one computer can install the latest 4.2.40 client?

    Hey gmiest,

Just so you know, you can deploy and manage 4.2.40 client using ERA Servers version 3.1.15 still. The ERA 4 servers just support additional features that are available in managing 4.2.x clients.
