I understand that for some of writers, there is probably other problems but I thing description what to check/setup on NOD site is acurate enough. Theory about something behind normal firewall/port scanner rules on NOD seems to be not very clear. Im from Czech and here ESET products are most spreaded commercial antivirus. I have several customers with which I use CrossLoop, and at this time I have no other type of problems that corrupted path. All WinXP CZ ESS 4.2.40.10.

Problem I found is quite clear and easy reproducible - simply corrupted path in registry. Very similar symptoms as described - easy fix. This is reason why I mentioned it here.
