ESET NOD 32 Anti Virus causing SBS 2008 to freeze

    SBS 2008 x64
    With ESET nod 32 av installed. Version 4.2.71.2.

    Every 2 - 3 days our server will freeze. You can ping it, but stuck at CTRL ALT DEL screen.

    You have to reboot the system.

    Think I might try to get my money back with ESET. This is terrible.

    All the office computers each day get stuck at Applying computer settings. And our server freezes every 2 - 3 days.

    Please take the following articles into account when installing ESET on a server operating system.

    ESET’s recommended Server settings.

    These settings are designed to limit disruptions of normal server processes and potential conflicts with other applications, and will not limit the protection of your server.

    Let us know if the problem persists.

    Also follow the instructions outlined in this KB article to circumvent a known bug in Windows Platform Filtering.
