ESET Mail Server Protection Event Log

Good Afternoon,

We installed ESET Mail Server Protection (Version 4.2.10016) on our Windows 2003 SBS in June 2010. About every 30 minutes, we receive the following message:

Microsoft Exchange Server protection Reading of Exchange configuration from Active Directory failed with result 0 and code 8007203B.

I have reviewed the forums and found 2 threads that say that this message does not effect the functionality of the product and that it will be corrected in a future build. Both of these threads were from May 2010.

I am wondering if the reply is still the same and when we can expect this message to go away.

The current version of ESET Mail Security for Exchange is 4.2.10019. You might want to look into upgrading to the current version.

You can also check the changelog and see if that problem in particular has been corrected.

Will you please provide me with instructions on upgrading to the current version?

I have located the ChangeLog, but I am not sure if any of the versions listed actually correct the error message we are receiving.

EMSX 4.2.10019.0 should no longer display the notification message you're getting (I'd emphasize it's not an error).
