    Hi!

    I'm currently using ESS v5.2.9.1.

Upon installation of ESS, if I chose not to participate in Eset Live Grid, what would be the consequences I would have then?

    Thanks.

    Hello encus

I see Live Grid more as a miniature version of Sysinspector.
A quick peek of what processes that are running at a given time. Giving you the chance to catch unknown processes, (malware e.g. ....and other processes too ). Participating in live Grid will also speed up scanning time. (based on a safe whitelist from all Eset users in the cloud ) And I will guess, also a faster response time to new threats. Oh I forgot to write that participating in Live Grid also minimise the chance that Eset creates too many False positives . :D

    Regards, Janus

    Have a nice day :)
