    Why do you feel ripped off? Users outside of India wouldn't be able to use that license anyway.

    Hello,

    Promotions are handled by the distributor for a specific territory, in conjunction with their regional ESET office. As an example, (a hypothetical one, that is) if ESET North America were to offer some sort of promotional pricing for July 4th (the U.S. Independence Day) it would not be valid in India.
