According this article at the bottom of the page Eset has hips. Where can I find it http://www.eset.eu/support/changelog-eset-nod32-antivirus-4
Hello eezdva, From the Help files and your link Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS) protects your system from malware or any unwanted activity attempting to negatively affect the security of your computer. It utilizes advanced behavioral analysis coupled with the detection capabilities of network filter to monitor running processes, files and registry keys, actively blocking and preventing any such attempts. That is in the "Antivirus and antispyware protection - Setup" section BFG
Yes I know all that cause I just read it on the page I included So besides that it uncludes it . How can I find it , use it , configure it?
Hello eezdva, I have posted the following response in regards to HIPS questions: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1463170&postcount=46 The following is the thread that this is from: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=234799 Feel free to PM me if you have further questions. Ok well I don't know if I need to go really into PM as I am sure I am not the only one who wonders ? But what I understood is that ESET has HIPS but not used in the same way as other software do it.
with treatsense you could say v2 has hips, in the way eset are using the terminology? how does v4 differ from v3 except better self defense and cleaning?
