    Running ESET 4.2.71.2
    XP SP 3

I have ESET installed on two XP SP3 boxes, and both have experienced this error once in the last two days. Can I assume that if the GUI is having problems, I'm still protected by the underlying engine?

In each case the GUI's icon disappeared when I chose to accept the error message. I then restarted ESET from the my Programs menu.

The error message was exactly the same on both:

    ESET GUI has stopped working

It's a typical Microsoft error message dialog, allowing me to close it out and let it send off a report.

Here's what I see in the XP event viewer on my office box:

Faulting application egui.exe, version 4.2.71.2, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x0202d0d2.
