ESET firewall

    Hello guys

    I have windows server 2008 and also ESET installed
    it's working but couple days ago ESET smart detect something wrong and blocked all connections to the Server including me and my website and IIS IP's
    remote desktop, everything :oops:

    so my application stopped. and the server was down for 3 hours till the server admins responded to my tickets.
    now it's turned off .. and this is not smart solution !
    this is should not e happening ........

    what you advise guys ?

    Well, my advice would be not to install Smart Security on a server :).

    Yes, i'm not using it anymore, i disabled it.
    but i thought maybe someone can advice for better firewall software or how to secure windows server.
    I think i don't need a firewall, maybe there is some steps built in on windows that can prevent any attackers.
