Eset Firewall and Windows 7 build 7100

    Solution 2 your problems
    Go to advanced firewall options
    edit zones
    add ip range and remove subnet

    Had a lot of trouble with this
    ESET would block internet access
    Or windows 7 drivers would not contact the DNS sever

    No DNS contact, no internet

    So I decided to solve this by replacing the Windows 7 drivers
    Or replacing the ESET firewall

    Bought and installed cFosSpeed v5.00.1560

    It replaced the windows 7 drivers

    Presto all my internet problems went away

    Well worth the 23 dollars US

    Until someone can fix this at Microsoft or ESET

    VER 4.0467.0 Hope this helps

    PS you can get a 30 day trial of cFosSpeed to see if it fixes the problem
