    Afternoon,

    Scenario:
VMware Workstation running on Windows Vista 32.
XP Pro VMWare Appliance running Cisco VPN Client Software.
Eset SS 3.0.672 installed on Vista Machine.
No anti-virus or firewall on Xp Pro.

General Network/internet traffic flows without error from the VM. However, the cisco VPN client will not connect unless the Eset firewall on the Host Machine is turned off.

I have read a couple of other responses on these forums without any resolution.

    - Changing the VM to run in "NAT" network mode is not an option for me.
    - I have un-checked all the "Blocked" rules in SS Firewall.
    - Eset is not prompting me to allow/deny when running in interactive mode.

Has anybody been able to make this work without having to disable the firewall?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Are you using a bridged network connection?

    Regards,
