Eset 6 Av first impressions

I have had no viruses for all the time I have used it, probably several years now. That's all I care about

 

Like rollers above, I have had no infection which have not been caught bye Eset, in the time I have used it. This is just based on my daily use, and not an experience, based on a test done in a virtual environment .( even though I do that, time to time). The possibility that you are actually hit by a true zero day malware, is statistic very small. But hey, here is it that your other layer of protection kicks in, like e.g. sandboxie and image backup. Just have in mind, and I know you know that but anyway, no matter what av solution you go for, nothing will have a rate of 100 procent detection (no matter what they say). My humble experience with Eset is that they have a very stable detection in those few test organisations that I like to follow.
