    escan (KAV) has disabled "System Information" tool. How do you turn it back on?

    How did you find out it was disabled? Did you get any specific message that it was disabled?

    Ya, I know eScan messes with PC services.

    Regards,
    Firecat :)

    OK here's what you do:

    1)Click start-->Run
    2)In the box type 'services.msc' without the quotes.
    3)From the list that is seen, select 'Help and Support', right click it and click 'properties'
    4)In the drop-down menu where it is written 'startup type', select 'Manual' or 'Automatic'.

    Now it should function fine.

    Regards,
    Firecat :D
