    Yes. The "proactive scan" pretty much gives a warning on every application that is not internally trusted (IE, Windows processes, FF, etc.). The software is a bit lighter now and scans are faster. It also has some useful features like the removable drive scanner, which pops up every time you plug in a USB drive, and the windows update checker, which is pretty handy too (though a bit unnecessary?).

    The firewall is, however, lacklustre and there are no "real" proactive protection features to speak of. However, given the price at which eScan sells, I think it is a pretty good product.

    Finally, the support is very responsive when corresponding by email, and issues are handled very fast (at least in my experience).

    On a side note: The MWL technology works really well, blocking malware even before the download finishes. However, I guess any decent HTTP scanner will do that. The thing is that MWL has been around for a very long time.....
