Hi I have a problem with NOD 32. When it scans my computer, errors messages appears. See you the scrrenshot Is it normal there are these errors messages ? I made the screenshot a bit smaller
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but those are normal messages. The files are system files and are in use, therefore they can't be opened and scanned....
Thanks for your response GuruGuy but this message too appears ( don't see in the screenshot but above of the scan ) F:\Program Files\ESET\Install\DISK1\data1.dat > RAR > nms32.dll - archive damaged Is it normal or this file is corrupted ? many thanks
That appears to be an ESET .dll file.....not sure, maybe it is corrupted Says "archive" damaged....maybe it's a backup of a file and not needed......someone from ESET will have to answer this. Sorry.
AFAIK, the installation is using a new version of RAR, that the NOD32 Scanner isn't capable of extracting in all situations. The extraction routines will of course be updated, though, I don't know when. Best regards, Anders
To reduce the amount of files NOD32 is unable to open, you turn off scanning of all files and leave only the standard extensions for scanning (this can be done in NOD32 scanner setup - Extensions).
