Error writing to registry key

    This new build did not install for me

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\current version\run
    RegSetVAlueEX failed; code 5
    Access is denied

    Abort - Retry or ignore are my options.

    Did you uninstall the previous version first? I didn't and got that error.

    Nope I didn't uninstall the other version first but I clicked Ignore and it appears the new version installed anyway.

    Just a reminder to anyone else reading this thread that you should not be installing over the top of an already existing RegDefend installation, as has been stated in the release notice for v1.200:
