Currently I use NOD32 as an "On-Demand" scanner and whenever I start a scan (In-depth or local)...I get a ERROR READING SECTOR message. Also the hiberfil.sys and pagefile.sys files are locked. There are numerous "error occured while reading file" messages that are displayed during a scan in various location.

    I attached an image above.

Is this normal? If someone can provide some more info on this, it would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Anything that shows up in the log in blue with the [4] means that the file is locked by the OS and can not be scanned. This occurs with all scanners, it's just that NOD32 is one of the few that actually lets you know it can't check those files. So yes, it is normal. You should also get complaints about your registry files as well as they can not be scanned as files.
