Error occured while reconnecting to internal server

Running 25 user network all on windows 2000 pro. and office 2000 premium. After install of nod32 occasionally in word or wordperfect an error will occurr while saving documents. An error occured while reconnecting I: to \\SERVERNAME\company. Microsoft windows network: The local device is already in use. The connection can not be restored. I also installed office from the server. After installing nod32 outlook wanted an update. I was not able to browse for the data file on server through outlook. Yet I could still access network drive from my computer or explorer.
