    Hi tigertheman, and welcome.

First, bring up TaskManager (ctrl+alt+del keys) and right-click on the ldgdlyz.exe and choose "End Process" to stop it from running.

Then make sure you have all files and folders viewable:
How to Show Hidden Files and Folders

Navigate to C:Windows\System32 folder and find the file called idgdlyz.exe. Right-click on it (don't left click it) and choose Properties, and check under the tabs and tell me what it says there. Then zip up a copy of it and submit it to Pieter Arntz for analysis. You can find his email addy in his Profile, Here (scroll down and look under Additional Information)
Include a brief message and a link back to this thread so he will be able to find it easily. Thank you.

    ---

Then with only HijackThis open, put a check beside the following items.
Close ALL windows/browsers (except HijackThis) and click *Fix checked:

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key just before windows begins to load, and find and delete the bridge.dll file in the C:\WINDOWS\System32 folder.

    Reboot your computer normally.

    -----

You are also way behind in security updates, and that makes you vulnerable to many exploits and viruses. Please go to Microsoft's Update Site and download and install ALL Critical Updates listed for XP and IE6.

Please post another log here in this thread to be checked.

    Regards,

    Hi Tigertheman,

Your log looks clean to me. Were you albe to zip up the "ldgdlyz.exe" file and email it to Pieter? You could also upload it to Kaspersky for a scan.
If the scan results show it as infected, then delete that file too.

Then once you are sure your system is clean, clean out your old restore points from System Restore: System Restore Instructions.
(Don't forget to turn it back on again once you've rebooted)

Read here on how to keep your computer clean:
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=27971

And again, I cannot stress it strong enough to go to Windows Update and get the SP1 installed for XP along with ALL Critical Updates for both XP and IE, or you could be back here with a worse infection. :doubt:

    Regards,

Let me know if I should delete this file, or maybe Pieter will advise me.
    Thanks Again,

Delete the file if you did not install a dialer for callinghome.biz
And I don't think you have.

    Regards,

    Pieter
