Error installing spywareguard

    Trying to help a young man who just bought his first computer, a laptop. Running XP home, spywareguard installs ok but when I try to run it I get an error.

    "Component MSCOMCTL.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"

    Can anyone help?
