I am having the exact same problem. The wierd part is that I uninstalled the copy i have, installed it on another machine in the same rack and I can backup to the NAS device. Worked for a week with no errors. Moved acronis back to my exchange server and and these are the errors I get. I can copy the data, I can use MS backup with no problem. I'm puzzled why this is happening.

Failed to write data to the archive file.
A possible reason might be poor media quality. : None

I think i found the problem. In my event log on the server that kept getting the errors I noticed the following error

Intel(R) PRO/1000 MT N is set up for auto-negotiation but the link
partner is not configured for auto-negotiation. A duplex mismatch may occur.

The other test server that I was using for troubleshooting just happened to have the NIC cards set to Full Duplex (same cards). I set my NIC cards to full duplex and the system is now imaging like a champ.

The wierd part is that this is a production exchange server. There have been no reports of problems. No complaints, nothing. Even MS backup worked. I'm not sure why Acronis has a problem with this. Seems to be some kind of timeout issue on the network.

I've seen this error on here a few times so I'm going to post a new thread to see if this fixes the problem for other people.

    Hope this helps.

Has anyone figured out the problem with thiso_O? I seem to be getting nowhere with Acronis nor in this forum with the same problem.

This might work with your RAID system.
Go to "Service" and "Stop" the "Protected Storage" service.
(right click My Computer, Manage, Services and Applications, Services)
Double click on Protected Storage and select Stop.
    Then try the backup.
We use to do this at Dxxx on raid fiber storage units.
